A dark comedy about a junkie who runs the night shift at a convalescent hospital. In the spirit of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Harold and Maude, and Drugstore Cowboy. Brooklyn
Reptyle Films presents the feature film BOPPIN' AT THE GLUE FACTORY,
a dark social satire about the relationship between a male nurse
and the residents and staff of a convalescent hospital and his need
to keep his unhealthy Dilaudid habit in check. Boppin' is an Official Selection of the
IFP Narrative Rough Cut Lab as seen in the Hollywood Reporter
Featuring Derek Hughes as the hapless John Doe, a man who doesn't know where he came from who can't control his insatiable hunger for meat, much to the dismay of everyone he runs across. That is, until he meets the grocery delivery girl Audie Bantam, who falls head over heels in love with him. With classic comedic performances by the sultry Christa Campbell, the legendary Rance Howard, and the inimitable Richard Riehle, as well as an outrageous ensemble cast, Audie and The Wolf also features a blistering rock and roll score by Karl Preusser along the lines of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and packs a wallop of laughs, bloody murder, and romance.
